  • Play a critical role in keeping Qantas ground operations safe and compliant across our national GSE network
  • Gain valuable experience in a first‑line compliance role within a highly regulated aviation environment
  • Two opportunities available: one permanent full‑time position based in Sydney and one 12‑month fixed‑term position based in Brisbane, both offering exposure across multiple ports and the opportunity to make a meaningful operational impact.

At Qantas, we understand our priorities and what needs to be delivered, taking the initiative to keep things moving. Navigating through our complex work environment, we bring teams and individuals together to deliver on our customers’ expectations.

Taking ownership is critical. Whether we’re working individually or as a group, we challenge ourselves to make progress and deliver results. We won’t settle for anything less than the best outcome.

This role is well suited to someone who thrives in structured environments, enjoys supporting others, and takes pride in keeping operations compliant, consistent, and running to plan.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Monitor and support compliance with Group and GSE policies, procedures, and schedules across multiple ports
  • Experience conducting audits and assurance activity over logistics or maintenance operations
  • Track deliverables, milestones, and action plans, ensuring ports meet required timeframes
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, documentation, and reporting
  • Provide first‑line, supportive compliance guidance to operational teams
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, airport authorities, and third‑party suppliers
  • Support BAU compliance activities, including airside access, permits, and operational documentation
  • Contribute to weekly team meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and ways of working
  • Experience using IFS software or a maintenance information system (desirable)
