Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. Every day at work, our inspectors, auditors, and lab techs use their expertise to help safeguard the products you use every day in your home: from clothes and footwear to toys and baby products, to electronics, appliances, and furniture.

THE JOB

Conduct on-site fire safety audits at factories and industrial facilities across Vietnam, assessing compliance with applicable fire safety standards, client requirements, and QIMA procedures. The role involves on-site inspections, risk identification, functional testing, and audit reporting, with occasional travel to support projects in Southeast Asia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fire Safety Audits

• Conduct on-site fire safety audits, including document review, facility walkthroughs, system inspections, and closing meetings.
• Inspect fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and evacuation routes.
• Perform functional checks and verify fire safety documents, maintenance records, and actual site conditions.
• Identify non-conformities, assess risk levels, and provide practical corrective recommendations.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based audit reports with photos and relevant standard references.

CAP & Follow-up

• Review corrective action evidence and conduct follow-up verification for critical or high-risk findings.

Standards & Team Support

• Keep up to date with relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
• Support fellow auditors on fire safety matters and participate in internal calibration and quality activities.

THE CANDIDATE

It could be you, if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety, Fire Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in fire safety, protection systems, or auditing within industrial/factory environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, extinguisher, emergency lighting, and evacuation systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA and relevant national fire safety standards; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Good English communication and reporting skills, with strong attention to detail and sound technical judgment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and travel for on-site/multi-day audits.
