Job Description
OBJECTIVE
Manage the microbiology laboratory and maintain a high level of technical compliance and quality performance for consumable products testing. Optimize team organization, productivity, and all aspects of laboratory operations with strong discipline. Serve as the technical expert for the microbiology laboratory, responsible for developing and implementing new testing methods and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the setup and establishment of the microbiology testing laboratory
• Build and manage the microbiology team and oversee daily laboratory operations
• Manage the microbiology laboratory and maintain a proper laboratory environment
• Develop microbiological testing methods based on customer requirements
• Continuously improve and develop microbiological testing methods and procedures
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Bioengineering, Chemical Testing, or related fields
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• At least 5 years of experience in microbiological testing and 3 years of laboratory management experience
• Experience in third-party testing laboratories, familiar with CMA and CNAS audit processes
• Strong knowledge and skills in microbiological testing and preservative efficacy testing
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with a structured and data-driven mindset
• Extensive microbiology testing experience; candidates with third-party textile/toy microbiology testing backgrounds are preferred
