Job Description

Role Overview :

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at QIMA, you will be the pioneer of our new business growth, tasked with building the pipeline from the ground up. Your primary focus will be to proactively identify, engage, and qualify new prospects through strategic outbound initiatives. This role is designed for a hunter who is motivated by the challenge of creating new opportunities and building a foundational step for a successful career in sales at a globally impactful company.

We are looking for a curious, resilient, and outgoing individual who is eager to master the art of outbound sales development.

Key Responsibilities :

Outbound Prospecting & Strategy

· Identify and research target companies and key decision-makers within our ideal customer profile (ICP) across retail, fashion, and manufacturing sectors.

· Develop a deep understanding of target verticals to tailor messaging to specific industry pain points.

· Utilize sales intelligence tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, CRM) to build accurate and targeted contact lists.

Multi-Channel Outreach & Engagement

· Design and execute a strategic, multi-touch outreach campaign across email, phone, and social channels to generate new conversations.

· Craft compelling, personalized messaging that articulates QIMA’s value proposition and addresses prospect challenges.

· Persistently follow up with prospects to break through noise and secure initial meetings.

Lead Qualification & Scheduling

· Conduct initial discovery calls to qualify prospects based on strategic fit, budget, authority, need, and timeline

· Accurately document qualification criteria and next steps in the CRM.

· Schedule and hand off well-qualified meetings and opportunities to Business Development Managers

CRM & Data Management

· Meticulously maintain all prospect information, communication history, and lead status in the CRM

· Ensure data integrity to support accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and analytics.

Collaboration & Market Intelligence

· Work closely with Business Development Managers and Marketing to refine targeting and messaging based on results and feedback.

· Serve as a voice of the customer, providing insights on market trends and competitive intelligence gathered from prospecting activities.

What Success Looks Like :

· Consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities generated.

· High activity volume (calls, emails) and positive engagement rates.

· A clean, accurate, and actionable outbound pipeline.

· Positive feedback from internal team members on the quality of opportunities generated.

 

Qualifications

Requirements :

Must-Have

· 1–3 years of experience in a B2B outbound sales or business development role.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in another language is a significant advantage.

· Highly organized, self-motivated, and resilient with a proven ability to handle rejection.

· A natural curiosity and a strong desire to learn about supply chain management, compliance, and QIMA’s services.

Nice to Have:

· Experience in a service-based or SaaS B2B environment.

· Experience with CRM software and sales engagement platforms.

· Familiarity with key sales performance metrics: activity volume, connection rate, qualified opportunity conversion rate.
