Job Description
QAD has a Senior Procurement Manager position available in our Global Finance team. This position is fully remote and based in the U.S. Your responsibilities will include managing and leading the procurement activities of the organization. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that goods and services are procured at the best possible price, quality, and delivery terms. You will oversee all aspects of the procurement process, including sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and purchasing. This position reports directly to the VP, Global Finance.
What you’ll do:
Purchasing and Procurement
- Procurement Strategy: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the procurement strategy and making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Supplier Management: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements, and managing ongoing supplier relationships to ensure high-quality goods and services are delivered on time and within budget.
- Procurement Process: Developing and maintaining procurement policies and procedures that comply with legal and ethical standards. Overseeing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to payment, and ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in an efficient and effective manner.
- Budget Management: Managing the procurement budget and monitoring expenses to ensure that procurement activities are cost-effective and aligned with the organization's financial goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and senior management, to understand their procurement needs and ensure that procurement activities are aligned with their goals.
Travel & Expense
- Manage QAD’s Travel and Expense Vendors
- Responsible for all significant T&E vendor contracts and renewals related to travel and expense (ie. prepaid airline, rental car and hotel rates).
- Review travel expense such as top travelers, high dollar spends, etc to ensure spend is within policy guidelines and best pricing is obtained
- Review and approve vendor selection and best pricing for large events (ie. Sales Kickoff and President’s Club)
Facilities
- Support exit negotiations and terms. Secure sublease tenants, if applicable
- Negotiate new facility leases
- Manage and negotiate tenant improvement projects including vendor selection, contract negotiation and best pricing
- Manage the relationship (pricing and terms) with the preferred Collaborative Space Vendor(s) e.g. WeWork
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, supply chain management or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior procurement role.
- Understanding and strategic perspective about technology, cost, and delivery requirements
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including sourcing, contract management, supplier management, and risk management.
- Experience with procurement software and systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate procurement risks

- Compensation packages based on experience and desired skill set
Compensation Package:
- Base pay range: $110,000 - $134,000 USD Annual (12 Months)
- Placement within our pay range will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location variations as well as internal peer equity
- This position is also eligible for an annual company performance bonus
- U.S. benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, paid-time off, parental leave, and well-being programs
