Job Description

QAD is looking for a strong individual to join as Renewal Specialist in our Global Renewal team Shared Services Center based in Mumbai, India.  This position will report to the Global Renewals - Renewal Team Lead and be responsible to interact with customers on a proactive basis.  Create a positive experience projecting QAD’s image of dedication and satisfying its customer’s requirements.  Engage customers and create continued customer loyalty by consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsible for successful maintenance renewal cycle including achieving target, management of current and lapsed accounts, and documentation of account, and UCA file collection within customer base.

Responsible for creating quotes, as well as processing renewals with customers, partners, distributors and internal Renewal Managers, etc.

This position will require excellent communication skills given this individual will be interacting with both internal (Sales and Customer Success) and external customers and partners/distributors. This position requires effective communication across the sales, renewals/customer success, legal, and revenue teams. This individual should possess critical thinking and be a quick learner with the ability to learn and apply policies/procedures.  Should be able to assess the nature of customer transactions and work with other functions and/or team members to resolve any issues. 

This position will be responsible for supporting multiple regions and will require the need to work various shifts.

What You’ll Do:

Process and/or coordinate global renewal quotes, which include quotes across all renewal revenue streams. Responsible for achieving maintenance renewal revenue target, comprehensive management and escalation of lapsed accounts, and documenting history of the account renewal.   Review, validate and deliver quotes to customers Closely work and interact with the Sales, customers, distributors, partners, renewal team, etc and Finance to assure renewals are processed according to customer contracts, including but not limited to generating quotes, performing research to resolve any customer renewal and work with the Global Shared Services team to review and correct installed base issues.

  • Responsible for performing additional activities such as customer setup, order documents,UCA file collection, etc

  • Ensure service level agreements (SLA's) standards are met or exceeded.  Timeliness and the quality of the SSC Renewal output, among other SLA’s will be monitored to ensure standard end-to-end business processes are followed.

  • Review, research, prioritize and respond to sales, renewals, partners and distributors and customer inquiries related to renewal related topics

  • Perform daily functions with QAD Values: Drive for Results, Do the Right Thing, Extreme Ownership, Commit to the Team and Challenge the status Quo. Use those values to build strong working relationships across QAD, including deal desk, sales, renewals/customer success, legal, revenue and services team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

  • 1 to 2 years in contract renewal process (i.e. customer order processing) a plus. Experience in Shared Services of a multi-national company preferred

  • Expert in Google Sheet and other Google Suite, MS Excel.  Knowledge of ERP systems, Salesforce CRM, CPQ and any other billing systems.. Ability to quickly learn new applications

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills. High energy with strong interpersonal skills when working with cross functional departments. Excellent critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
