We are currently seeking a talented Production Consultant II (Platform Development) to join our team and drive the development and maintenance of our platform for XCP Offer Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ElasticPath, databases, and microservice APIs, and a passion for delivering new code features, ensuring system maintenance, designing robust architectures, and conducting comprehensive testing.

This position is an on-site position and will be a W-2 hourly 6-month contract with possible extension.

The hourly rate is $70 – $73. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new code features for the XCP Offer Services platform. 
• Lead system maintenance activities, ensuring the platform's stability, performance, and security.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions leveraging ElasticPath, databases, and microservice APIs.
• Conduct triage activities to address platform issues promptly and efficiently.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of the platform.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in platform-related discussions and decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 8+ years of experience in platform development, particularly with ElasticPath, databases, and microservice APIs.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing new code features within a production environment.
• Strong understanding of system maintenance practices and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience in architecting robust and scalable platforms.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and tools to ensure platform reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
