Job Description

The incumbent in this position will directly report to the Director of TV Commercial Clearance and collaborate closely with the Account Management & Creative Team, Legal, Business Affairs, and Traffic Department to ensure the comprehensive review and approval of TV commercials and online video content for broadcast.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of TV commercial clearance at Publicis Groupe ad agencies.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and deliver quality work under heavy workloads.
  • Thoroughly review all commercial materials for potential clearance issues or red flags.
  • Provide continuous consultation and lead discussions with internal teams on TV production from storyboard concept to final commercial, offering solutions as needed.
  • Coordinate the submission and clearance of creative materials (scripts, rough cuts, finals, and pertinent substantiation) with the Networks Standards & Practices departments to ensure compliance with their guidelines.
  • Negotiate with the networks' Standards & Practices Departments on all issues of concern to ensure successful clearance.
  • Deliver timely status reports to account teams regarding network comments/requests and ensure smooth communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the Traffic Department to guarantee that all commercials meet scheduled air dates.
  • Regularly update and maintain department procedural documents, lists, forms, etc., to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and delegate tasks within the department effectively.
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations on the clearance process for various Publicis Groupe Agencies and clients to ensure understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience at an agency or broadcast/cable network
  • B.A./B.S. degree
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft applications
  • Experience with BOX is a plus

 

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
