Job Description

The Programmatic Senior Executive will play an integral part in the planning and execution functions by delivering programmatic media plans utilizing established strategic best practices and ensuring accurate setup and optimization of programmatic activity for Publicis Groupe clients. 

Qualifications

Technical & Product

  • Understand and effectively communicate Precision’s value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts.
  • Responsible for the setup and execution of online media campaigns and programs for agency clients (e.g. auction/exchange-based performance media, audience-based buying, and remarketing campaigns).
  • Serve as an expert on all aspects of the Precision Product offering and processes.
  • Handle daily campaign maintenance including questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns.
  • Educate and guide broader media team and clients on programmatic best practices and new opportunities.
  • Work with agency partners to ensure creative assets are scheduled.
  • Trafficking of campaign tags into ad exchange environments for effective delivery of programmatic media buys.
  • Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns.
  • Support the Precision Account Manager in overseeing and/or resolving weekly and daily campaign QA reports to ensure accurate campaign results and trafficking routines.
  • Collaborate with local and global Precision teams to improve operational processes.
  • Provide monthly auditing reports to agency partners and internal finance teams for invoicing when required.
  • Full reporting responsibility and data analytics, providing insights on campaign delivery and effective optimization strategies

Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency

  • Create 360-degree media plans including all disciplines of the programmatic space. These will include but are not exclusive to Private Marketplaces, 1st Party Data, 2nd Party Data and 3rd Party data integrations.
  • Develop DMP custom audiences, best practices, and testing strategies.
  • Interface with vendors (Media Owners, DSPs, Exchanges, SSPs, DMPs) to push the envelope allowing us to be on the leading edge of the programmatic space and bring true quality and award-winning work to our clients.
  • Produce engaging campaign analysis for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing and media optimization and management.
  • Develop statistically robust testing plans across new ad technologies including viewability, pre-bid, mobile, and data vendors.
  • Work closely with campaign management and operations to ensure campaign goals are met.

Innovative & Analytical Mindset

  • Develop innovative programmatic tactics laddering up to strategic best practices to drive strong and efficient marketing campaigns for Publicis Media’s clients.
  • Ensure operational excellence through continuous refinement of best practices, tactics, and partners.
  • Create workflow and implication docs for major releases on the DSP platforms and share those updates with planning and client teams.
  • Work on gathering information for RFPs and Precision strategy for new/existing client pitches.
