Excitingly, we are currently on the lookout for a well-versed Senior Paid Search (SEM) Manager to join our Publicis LeOne team. The role

This is an incredible opportunity to drive the strategic direction and implementation of Haleon’s SEM accounts. You will be the go-to-expert for SEM across a highly visible roster of brands, working closely with the client Brand Managers to ensure the accounts are performing to KPIs. From a people management perspective, you will oversee the development of a Senior SEM Exec as well as an offshore resource, and provide guidance on their day-to-day delivery of work. Problem solving, attention to detail, strong communication, client servicing know-how and qualified paid search knowledge are the keys to this role.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Spearhead the strategic direction, planning and implementation of the client’s SEM accounts
  • Apply a strong knowledge of SEM and emerging practices as well as new ideas within the field
  • Present and articulate approach, ideas and developments to client stakeholders and the wider team
  • Ensure budgets are spent according to the plan and delivery is to target
  • Reporting at a monthly and quarterly basis, making sure details are clear and accurate
  • Manage and oversee the development of the Senior SEM Executive and an offshore resource including day-to-day oversight of their work across implementation, pacing and optimisations. Ensure delivery is on track and aligned to scope
  • Ensure Account Managers, client Brand Managers and the wider team clearly understand any challenges and apply appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Digital team, Account Managers and Operations Leads, contributing to a team-oriented environment and celebrating collective achievements

What type of person will be successful in this role 

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ of experience with end-to-end paid search/SEM expertise
  • Strong understanding and experience with Google Ads and SA360
  • Experience managing team members and effective leadership skills
  • Proven track record of driving performance outcomes for clients through comprehensive strategies and innovative approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, effectively prioritise, and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong client servicing and account management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
