Job Description
As a Network Security Engineer, you will be a part of a smart cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients. You’ll have the unique opportunity to increase the engineering team productivity by developing and overseeing the database architecture, design, and operations within the products of some of the world’s largest brands.
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, risk management, and compliance requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Security Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing secure cloud architectures, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, encryption, and secure application development practices.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Ability to design and implement robust identity solutions, including role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and identity federation.
- Network Security: Expertise in designing secure network architecture including virtual network (VNet) segmentation, network security groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, VPN gateways, and DDoS protection.
- Data Security and Encryption: Knowledge of data protection techniques such as encryption, data masking, tokenization, and data loss prevention (DLP)
- Compliance and Governance: Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and best practices for ensuring Cloud environments meet industry standards and regulatory mandates. This includes knowledge of Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, and compliance assessment tools.
Qualifications
• Must have: Deep knowledge of AWS Networking
• Must have: Able to create, review and update network designs in AWS
• Must have: Experience with Shared VPCs, Firewalls, private service access
• Must have: Experience of Interconnects and HA-VPN
• Must have: Knowledge of how to configure external hub and spoke ingress/egress,
• Must have: Experience of working in a secure banking environment (regions / network borders etc.)
• Must have: AWS Certifications in networking a bonus
• Must have: Strong knowledge of AWS DNS services
• Nice to have: Hands on Knowledge of Terraform AND CI/CD processes
Additional Information
Pay Range: $90,000 - $175,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
