Job Description

What will you be doing?

This is a truly exciting opportunity for a Media Planning Account Director to join the agency and work on a globally renowned retail client. This role calls for a dynamic and passionate planning mind to be the day-to-day lead and involves performance led campaign planning, global media information gathering, & reporting across paid media activity.  You’ll have exposure across different media channels on a full-service team, working on cross-platform digital campaigns.

The Client - Primark

In ’73 Penneys ventured to the UK where it was renamed Primark. Since then, they’ve grown and grown, and today amaze shoppers on high streets throughout Ireland, up and down the UK, across Europe and more recently in America. A lot has changed since ’73, with over 400 stores in 15 countries and plans are to maintain the growth pattern at pace.

One Publicis Primark has supported Primark on their growth journey since 2021 with a specific aim to support Primark on raising their visibility on the digital high-street, drive traffic and engagement to their new websites and drive in-store incremental sales.

Whilst ensuring our work aligns to deliver on the Primark brand vision ‘Bring amazing affordable fashion to all’

In this role you will:

  • Create brand and model strategies specific to your clients and inspire them to be brought to life via a variety of different media platforms;
  • Support your client on their digital transformation journey to maximize the online high-street opportunity through data and innovative media solutions – the goal being to drive more footfall and instore incremental sales through digital;
  • Have exposure across different media channels on a full-service team, working on cross-platform digital campaigns.

 

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have significant experience in a client facing comms planning role, specifically performance led digital activity performance led campaign planning, global media information gathering, & reporting across paid media activity
  • Be confident leading a variety of planning projects (for example planning of integrated communications across paid, owned, and earned media)
  • Be consultative, curious and comfortable analysing data…you will always find a story to tell!
