Job Description

This is a critical hire within Publicis Commerce to help drive thought leadership and realise the commercial potential we see in the market to develop a comprehensive marketplaces proposition.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Accelerate and own capability around the ‘retail’ component of both our marketplace and overall commerce offering. 
  • Organise assets and partnerships to deliver a commercially focussed commerce proposition (beyond media). 
  • Lead a team across the Groupe to establish an end to end marketplace offering (media / retail / creative / analytics). 
  • Build a series of marketplace solutions that can be easily be understood, scaled and monetised. 
  • Establish a clear operating model across the entire business to support marketplace planning and activation
  • Educate the business around the opportunities across Amazon (and other marketplaces) beyond performance media 
  • Collaborate with relevant product teams to determine relevant integration of existing products (Profitero, econtent suite + Citrus Ad)  

Qualifications

  • Direct experience of working in a commercially focussed role within a marketplace or e-retail context. 
  • Substantial experience managing commerce activity for a brand, retailer or agency. 
  • Deep knowledge of both the marketing and commercial levers to drive growth across indirect retail channels. 
  • Experience of negotiating commercial terms between brands, vendors and retailers
  • Proven experience of delivering successful projects in complex matrixed organisations. 
  • Commercial driven marketer
  • Relationship builder who is able to gain trust, support and respect from others. 
  • Strategic thinker who is curious and confident to join in, question and lead the discussion
