    Summary

    The position requires strong Automation knowledge to work on a complex automotive CRM platform.

    The position’s purpose includes, but is not limited to: 

    • Setup/configuration of the automation environment 
    • Analysis and writing test cases of new and enhanced features for the CRM platform as per business requirements 
    • Communication with Developers, product and production support teams etc. to deliver new or enhanced features and address issues/concerns 
    • Testing and validation of features as per design provided 
    • Supporting the production deployments and data validation

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with team to understand requirements and develop testcases.
    • Participate in sprint planning and scrum ceremonies. 
    • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
    • Evaluate product code according to specifications.
    • Report bugs and errors to development teams.
    • Help troubleshoot issues.
    • Conduct post-release/post implementation testing.
    • Develop technical documentation to define the system components and functional areas of the application.
    • Assist and help the team in developing feature and validating the feature during deployments. 
    • Support Production Support team in triaging and diagnosing issues or bugs as reported. 
    • Facilitate the design and implementation process for new products/projects, informing senior executive of alternatives. 
    • Work with cross-functional teams during crisis to address and resolve complex incidents and problems in addition to assessment, analysis, and resolution of cross-functional issues. 

    Qualifications

    • Quality analyst with 3-6 years of experience required. 
    • Excellent programming skills in Java and Selenium.
    • Strong working knowledge of TestNG, API Test and SQL. 
    • Good understanding of the Maven and Gradle tools. 
    • Experience in analyzing and measuring performance using Jmeter.
    • Knowledge in working with CI/CD pipeline.
    • Basic knowledge on Cucumber, Cypress, Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to anticipate and avoid problems. 
    • Experience in application monitoring and support of production applications with distributed teams. 
    • Ability to define and implement migration strategies from legacy systems to new architecture and technologies. 
    • Ability to work well within a team environment that includes geographically distributed team members. 
    • Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences. 
    • Experience with writing detailed technical specifications for developers; design, validate and execute software test plans. 

    Preferred qualifications 

    Educational

    • BTech/BE Computer Science or equivalent

    Technical 

    • Working knowledge of Java and Selenium and experience in automotive marketing and/or CRM applications preferred. 
    • Experience with TestNG, API Test and Gradle/Maven is preferred.
    • Experience with Jmeter, SQL and GIT is preferred.

    Non-Technical 

    • Good Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems quickly to maintain operational stability. 
    • Motivated to learn new applications and domain. 
    • Possess appetite for learning through exploration and reverse engineering. 
    • Strong time management skills. 
    • Ability to take full ownership of tasks and projects.
