Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Associate with excellent communication skills to be part of a dynamic team in one of the fastest-growing award-winning PR agencies in the Asia region. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate with experts from other disciplines such as creative, digital, data analytics, and media to provide communications solutions that create influence and deliver business impact across diverse client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build and/or maintain client relationships at the highest standard of professionalism.
  • Build deep understanding of clients’ business and their industry landscape.
  • Must be pro-actively involved in current client activities; able to identify opportunities to organically grow business with current accounts
  • Develop results-oriented strategic PR & Social Media/Influencer Engagement plans and lead ideation efforts to expand programs, resulting in maximum client satisfaction as well as in increasing agency revenues.
  • Proactively lead in the delivery and execution of client programs and events.
  • Liaise with media to pitch and secure media interviews for clients
  • Work with Influencers (KOLs) on behalf of clients to achieve communications objectives
  • Capture and analyse social data/metrics, insights and best practices to optimize social pages for clients to drive visibility
  • Manage multiple day-to-day tasks with strict adherence to deadlines and expectations.
  • Prepare and manage client campaign budgets to keep costs within client's budget within agreed deliverables while ensuring that target agency revenues are met and that non-billable expenses are kept minimal.
  • Assist and, as needed, lead, in the development of new business presentations, including research, design and program development.
  • Learn and apply tools, templates and methodologies that positively influence communication effectiveness as well as project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members in the areas of strategic planning, editorial content development, ideation of content and media relations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in PR communications in agency and/or client-side.
  • A strong writer with excellent research, writing, editing, presentation and client interaction skills.
  • Able to produce first-rate communications and editorial content for multi-platform media, including traditional mainstream and digital.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent organizational and reporting skills, able to manage multiple projects with minimum or no supervision.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking, capable to work independently and able to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing communications plans and implement public relations tactics.
  • Experience in local/regional strategic planning and strong media relations as well as social media management
  • Proven experience in leadership and mentoring skills to support professional growth and career development opportunities for junior team members
