Job Description

Spark Foundry’s Strategy and Innovation department sit at the heart of the agency. We’re champions of the company vision and ensure its visible in everything we do. We are thought leaders who help our and colleagues, and clients, to better understand what is happening in the world.  

Key duties include:
 

  • Being the creative spark that elevates strong comms planning into a big creative hook
  • Translating media strategies into creative briefs (that are channel agnostic)
  • Developing insights that help to unlock the brief
  • Understanding human behaviours, market contexts and changing culture, which can be used to find a creative hook for the media strategies
  • Ability to work across clients (we have lots of exciting brands from Meta and LVMH to Clarins and Jack Daniels)
  • Working with internal teams like our partnerships division, to elevate the quality of thinking and work
  • Collaborating with media owners, understanding their needs and how to get the very best out of them – which stems from writing brilliant briefs and communicating every step of the way
  • Running internal workshops, with colleagues and clients, to expand the creative opportunities
  • Reviewing creative ideas shared with partners, assessing their value, shortlisting the best ones, as well as creatively adjusting them to best fit the brief

 

Qualifications

We’re looking for an ambitious individual who has the vision and skills to move brands forward.

  • Demonstrable experience in creative strategy or producing ideas for media briefs (you may have worked media owner side or agency, both are great)
  • Experienced in how to translate a media strategy into a creative brief
  • Familiar with briefing partners, including external media owners, and understanding how to get the best out of them
  • An articulate and passionate speaker (we need someone who really loves working on big ideas)
  • Familiar with the briefing process, with a perspective on how to improve it
  • Comfortable working across channels, from TV to audio, social to publisher
  • Excited in how creativity and media work together
