Job Description
Leo Burnett is looking for a Community Manager to join them on a keystone client.
The primary responsibility of this role will be supporting the social/digital marketing team in establishing and promoting brand visibility and reach through leading and emerging social channels. This is an intermediate-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to be at the forefront of social media management and digital marketing.
Research and curate engaging content for social channels for clients in the B2C space. Social channels include Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. This will include writing, editing, publishing, and updating content on the pages, ensuring content is accurate, consistent and on-brand (style, tone of voice)
Assist in planning, creating and implementing organic/paid social media campaigns with appropriate audience targeting
Help implement and support integrated campaigns as per the brand’s digital marketing strategy
Proactively fostering engagement on social platforms, developing relationships with influencers, responding to comments, building community, etc.
Monitor and review analytics of social channels using various tools, measure ROI on all campaigns
Work collaboratively with agency teams to produce regular reporting on growth, performance and provide recommendations as per established KPI on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, plus ad hoc reporting – campaign tracking, in-market ad optimization opportunities, final campaign summaries and recommendations
Provide live coverage of special events and other programs on relevant channels
Promptly address and manage end-user feedback, questions and online reviews on social media
Continually help improve and integrate branding across various social media channels
Build an exceptional understanding of social media audiences and stay up-to-date with social trends
Actively participate in weekly status meetings including updating specific sections as part of the written reports shared with clients and team
Work collaboratively with other members of agency social team to write and share always-on creative briefs
Work collaboratively with international teams
Other activities as required
Strong balance of conceptual thinking, managing process, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently but also thrive in a collaborative environment
Willingness to see every project through to the finish with relentless focus and velocity
Ability to move fluidly between projects quickly
Uses feedback from the team and clients to learn and improve
Willingness to work after hours and weekends on occasion
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a social media role (agency or corporate), focused on content development, scheduling/posting as well as managing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube
Expertise with Social Media marketing best practices
Excellent communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills - experience in creative writing and/or social media community management is expected
Strong knowledge of and ability to read and interpret social media reporting including Facebook Insights, YouTube and Twitter reports.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Understanding of Google Analytics
Experience with Social Media software/management tools.
Basic CSS and HTML coupled with WordPress development would be a huge asset.
Bilingualism (French) an asset along with a post-secondary education.
Experience in Automotive marketing considered a strong asset
