Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Daily Feed Activity

  • Meet and exceed stipulated weekly, monthly direct BIW sales targets (Target 50 per month)
  • Activity Target per day (Regional execution) 20 Visits per day to Businesses,SOHO`s or individuals and Captured on Avengers
  • Ensure the daily,weekly and monthly sales pipeline is updated
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting in a increased daily pipeline
  • Morning Huddle at 08:00 daily with the Regional Team Leader to discuss sales targets vs actual vs activity
  • Adhere to the Vodacom Absolute rules
  • Ensure the Vodacom Uniform is presentable and relevant  
  • Daily training on BIW product via Teams/On-site at daily with the RTL
  • DSA to be accompanied by RTL to close off Sales Process
  • Travel Summaries to be monitored daily and submitted to the RTL for approval
  • Daily, weekly feedback sessions to line management on activity and sales performance

Daily Reporting Tasks

  • Complete the daily training register and sales to be submitted to the RTL
  • Capture Visits on Avengers and daily sales
  • Record competitor activity and Field activities  
  • Complete the Red Flag,Exception report daily and sent off to the RTL at 16:00
  • Resolve Redflags as and when received
  • Submit and review monthly travel logs and submitted to RTL (100% accuracy)


Daily Sales Targets

  • AE to achieve the 50 approved BIW sales monthly
  • Facilitate the order and quotes and fast track the sales orders
  • Monitor sales and visits twice daily 12:00 update and 16:00 update to the RTL
  • Arrange 1 quality promotion per week in the defined area with the RTL
  • Ensure sales targets are met monthly


·       Minimum Matric

·       Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

·       Familiarity of VPP(Siebel) and OBI software desired

Additional Information

·       Valid driver’s license beneficial Vehicle less than 8 years old (Current Road worthy certificate)

·       Current tyre certificate (minimum 10,000 km’s tread)

·       Must be able to pass & adhere to Vodacom Health & Safety Standards & Policies at all times – vehicle & self

·       Proof of business insurance (with car hire option)

·       Date & mileage of last service

·       Valid Driver’s license and vehicle license disc Valid driver’s license required  

·       Must be able to work in a Retail Enviroment as required by the client

·       Must be able to work closely with Regional Partners/Management Team to achieve objectives
