The newly formed Global Marketing organization is charged with bringing together Publicis Groupe’s marketing and digital business transformation offerings across creativity, media, data and technology, to drive business growth. The Business Development team sits inside this Marketing organization, responsible for New Business across the Groupe globally.

 

The below role partners with key stakeholders to drive success in new business conversion. You will have an outstanding track record in project management and managing multiple stakeholders.  You will need proven collaborative skills with the ability to connect with multiple teams across brands, geographies and practices.  You will thrive in a fast paced and agile environment.

Job Description

PRODUCE WINNING WORK

·       Contribute to development and elevation of the pitch content to ensure a compelling, bold and memorable story

·       Add strategic value at each stage of the pitch process; able to effectively evaluate content across media, data and tech, and creative

·       Know the changing advertising agency landscape, identifying our competitors’ points of difference (and their weaknesses)

·       Provide strategic consultation and guidance to Local Market Business Development teams running pitches that fall in the Consult Tier

 

LEAD TEAMS

·       Support and motivate pitch winning teams through high stress, demanding processes, so new business is something people WANT to be part of.

·       Foster collaborative relationships across Publicis Groupe agency brand and practices to ensure a consistent strategy is deployed on pitches

·       Provide support and input for team Group Directors as needed; Partnering to create new tools and processes to give team a competitive advantage

·       Provide support for Local Market Business Development teams running pitches that fall in the Consult Tier

 

DESIGNING, ACTIVATING AND OWNING THE PITCH DELIVERY PLAN

·       Guide and execute pitch coordination – timelines, checkpoints, deliverables, design and pitch theatre/production needs

·       Overall logistics management of new business pitches, from physical in-room needs to virtual meeting management

·       Lead with a robust understanding of all aspects of the Groupe, from media/creative planning, data, tech, tools, and commercials

 

CLOSE COLLABORATION

·       Closely collaborate across the Publicis Groupe to unlock Power of One opportunities and ensure a consistent, winning strategy is deployed across all pitches

·       Ensure accountability across key pitch stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliverables

·       Responsible for accurate and timely entry of pitch details in Publicis Groupe's Central Repository (via Salesforce)

Qualifications

·       6+ years of media, creative, PR planning/strategy, integrated marketing, or similar experience; background in business development in other verticals with cross-over skills

·       Self-starter who is curious and proactively thinks around corners

·       A natural-born planner, with excellent attention to detail and a passion for organizing process and people

·       Ability to perform in a fast paced and changing environment, under pressure to deadline

·       Believes no ask is too big and no detail too small

·       Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams to a common vision

·       A relentless competitive nature and hunger to win
