Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom frameworks and design systems that are used to power some of the world’s most visible website experiences.Building custom tools to support development processesContributing to existing SASS & JavaScript libraries used on a wide scaleContributing to and maintaining documentation for custom frameworksCollaborating and ideating on new features for existing systemsCollaborating with the creative team to enhance application design across multiple platforms
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working in a professional team environmentStrong proficiency in CSS and HTMLStrong proficiency with SASS, or other CSS preprocessorsProficiency in JavaScript, understanding of ES6Experience with at least one templating engine such as Handlebars, Moustache or similarExperience writing JavaScript from scratch, without the need for libraries to accomplish innovative interactionsExperience modifying or extending existing JavaScript modulesKnowledge of best practices in building fluid/responsive layoutsExperience using Chrome or Safari Dev Tools for inspecting and debugging client-side codeStrong knowledge of browser compatibility, including mobile web browsers, and their rendering enginesFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly PhotoshopExperience with version control systems such as Git and SVN and structured deployment practicesDemonstrated experience with modern front-end developmenttools with NodeJS such as Gulp, Yarn, Webpack and/or othersSuperior communication, organization and time management skillsExperience with localization and right to left languages, is a plusFamiliarity with Mac OS X including working in the UNIX termina
