Job Description

Razorfish Miami is seeking an Associate Experience Designer for a contract position. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Experience working within a Scrum team that executes within an Agile framework.  
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assess existing sites/properties for usefulness, usability, visual design, content, and branding (with guidance and oversight) 
  • Utilize low-fidelity, medium-fidelity, high-fidelity prototypes across different stages of the design process 
  • Observe participatory design/user testing sessions 
  • Take notes in user interviews and usability testing sessions 
  • Assist in identifying and documenting meaningful patterns from the findings 
  • Assist in developing Navigation Model, Primary and Secondary Navigation structure 
  • Assist in developing detailed Sitemap of all levels as required 
  • Assist in analyzing task flows, task decompositions and create optimal Task Flow 
  • Develop screen details (i.e. wireframes) depicting all elements on a unique screen type, including the content, functional, and navigation specifications 
  • Create prototypes using tools such as InDesign,Visio, Axure as required 
  • Annotate all deliverables

Job Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications 
  • 1-2 years of industry experience 
  • Candidates must be versed in user-centered design methods and techniques 
  • Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office  
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills 
  • Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm or agency preferred 
  • Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus
