Job Description

The Social Media Analyst is a highly selective role and will be a passionate member of the agency’s Distribution department’s growth. He/she will be charged with designing, managing and evolving MRY new business and client research deliverables as well as thought leadership initiatives. The ideal candidate understands how to leverage social media channels, earned media, and paid advertising including search for new business and existing clients. This role will contribute to the development of a growing analytics team.

He/She will enjoy working in a fun, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and thrive being around creativity and excitement.  He/She will rarely be satisfied with the status quo and always push the envelope to uncover new methodologies and efficiencies

Qualifications

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is digitally savvy, understands the search and social media landscape and has demonstrated ability to generate community dialogue, buzz, interaction and engagement through these channels. Additional requirements include:

•        1-3 years researching, analyzing and optimizing digital and social media strategies at top tier agencies or for Fortune 500 brands

•        Strong writing and analytical skills; able to seek and assemble brilliant, interrelated narratives

•        Strong passion for social media with an early adopter attitude

•        Very strong in Excel and Power Point
Proactive, self-starter who can work well as part of a growing team

•         College degree
