Job Description
Location: Onsite at 7900 Fannin St. Ste. 3300, Houston, TX 77054
Schedule: Part-time, working 8-hour shifts 2 to 3 days per week.
Responsible for the delivery of elective clinical and cosmetic skincare services for patients, working under the direct supervision of the physician. Key responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and home care, ensuring high patient satisfaction, and encouraging client retention through product and service recommendations.
Essential Job Duties:
Provides patients with complementary, in-depth skin analysis consultations and assessments.
Determines patient skin care goals and recommends services and retail products that can reasonably facilitate attainment of those goals, leading to client satisfaction and retention.
Provides patients with detailed instructions and educational materials related to their unique skin type and recommended skincare regimen adjustments.
Performs various clinical aesthetic treatments (e.g., advanced facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, micro-needling) as directed by the physician.
Seeks advice and supervision of the physician on treatment protocols as required, and reports any patient non-compliance or adverse reactions promptly.
Responsible for maintaining comprehensive patient medical records detailing all treatment procedures, products used, and educational materials received.
Qualifications
Maintain a valid Aesthetician license in good standing in accordance with state regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and common skin pathologies relevant to aesthetic treatments.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Treats patients and co-workers with professionalism, respect, and empathy for patient needs and concerns.
Minimum two years of experience performing advanced clinical aesthetic treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments) under physician supervision.
High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
