Dental Nurse – Specialist Orthodontic Practice

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside multiple Specialist Orthodontists and Orthodontic Therapists within a professional and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be confident, organised, and capable of working independently within nurse-led clinics. The role will include undertaking records appointments and working fully within your scope of practice.

• Full-time hours – 37.5 hours per week
• Typical shifts are 8am to 4.pm, Monday - Friday  (with the odd late shift on a Wednesday - rota basis)

• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.70

• 7-surgery, specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for both NHS and private patients 

• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists 

• Fully funded Radiography course available

• Onsite parking available 

About you

We’d love to receive your application to our Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and experience: 

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration 

• A caring and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills 

• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients 

• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting Specialist Orthodontists and Orthodontic Therapists during clinical procedures
• Managing and running nurse-led clinics
• Taking and processing orthodontic records (photographs, impressions/scans, radiographs where qualified)
• Maintaining high standards of cross-infection control and patient care
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
