Job Description

Playtech is looking for a hands-on People & Culture Generalist to support our growing US team. In this role, you will own all local Human Resources activity and be accountable for all talent functions for our Pennsylvania live streaming studio. This position supports a 24x7x365 operation employing up to 200 employees. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, empathetic and able to connect with a diverse range of employees and colleagues.  We are looking for an energetic self-starter who is eager to make an impact.  This role requires an HR professional with a broad skillset and the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Employee Relations & Leadership 

  • Strategic Support: Act as a trusted partner to management, providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions. 

  • Culture Advocacy: Promote and explain company policies and legal regulations, ensuring all levels of management understand and embody Playtech’s standards of compliance. 

  • Conflict Resolution & Investigations: Responsibly and discreetly handle employee complaints, including sensitive issues such as harassment or discrimination allegations. 

  • Champion Positive Employee Culture through engagement activities, campaigns, celebrations and community mindset. 

Training and Employee Development 

  • Training Administration: Ensure all employees complete company and legally required training activities as directed 

  • Employee Development: Work with local leadership to identify employee skill gaps and determine appropriate development and or training interventions to address needs 

Employee & Data Administration 

  • Data Integrity: Maintain our HRIS and payroll systems with high attention to detail, ensuring data integrity for audits and reporting. 

  • Reporting: Send accurate reports on a daily/weekly basis   

  • Total Rewards Management: Support employee’s questions and resolve concerns regarding benefit programs and enrollment, payroll concerns, compensation, and other issues.  

Compliance & Safety 

  • Compliance: Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with company policies and legal requirements and advise local leadership on employment related matters 

  • Licensing: Support studio leadership with the administration and required activities to apply and maintain employee gaming licenses 

  • Safety: Ensure studio operations maintain appropriate safety procedures and protocols and resolve any employee safety concerns that arise 

Core Competencies 

  • Emotional Intelligence: Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations. 

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex policy language for employees. 

  • Technical Savvy: Expert proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new HRIS software.  ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus. 

  • Organization: A self-motivated "quick learner" with the organizational skills to manage deadline-oriented tasks across multiple HR functions. 

Qualifications

Required Experience 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline 

  • Background: 2–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources 

  • Specialization: At least 2 years of direct experience in Employee Relations and HR Administration 

  • Preferred: Experience in the Gaming and/or Hospitality industry and is a significant plus. 

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience 

  • Annual Bonus  

  • Vacation Days: 12 days 

  • Sick Time: 5 days 

  • Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA, LTD/STD, Life Insurance. 

  • 401K – 4% match
