Playtech's Sound team is looking for a talented Composer/Sound Designer to collaborate with our international team and create immersive in-game music, design sound effects, and prepare sound packages for our online slot games.
Job Description
Your influential mission. You will...
- Create in-game music in a variety of genres for online slot games.
- Design sound effects and musical parts for animations and game events.
- Prepare game packages in a variety of sound formats.
- Edit and mix sound for promo videos.
Qualifications
Components for success. You...
- Compose across multiple genres (orchestral, traditional, rock, electronic/dance), creating strong, memorable hooks designed for seamless looping.
- Create adaptive/interactive game audio — loopable background tracks, anticipation builds, win/bonus stingers, feature transitions, and layered systems triggered by gameplay states.
- Design various sounds, delivering clean, punchy assets that retain definition across mobile, desktop, and headphone playback.
- Demonstrate audio‑editing skills; sound‑to‑picture experience is considered a plus.
- Show strong DAW proficiency and knowledge of industry‑standard plugins and virtual instruments.
- Mix and master with clarity at low playback volumes, controlled dynamics, and optimised loudness for compressed delivery formats.
- Work effectively within a cross‑functional team (product, developers, artists, compliance) and manage outsourcers and freelancers.
- Operate autonomously and provide curated music references to guide tone, style, and creative alignment for new projects.
- Work from a home studio with your own music production setup, including extensive SFX libraries.
- Have prior experience in the gaming industry.
- Communicate proficiently in English.

SOUND TEAM
There are several global game production studios within the Playtech family. Each studio is made up of Game Producers, Artists, Animators, Mathematicians, and Developers who collaborate to create high‑quality content for top‑performing games. These games are then distributed to our clients and players around the world. As a Composer/Sound Designer, you will be part of our Ash studio sound creative team and work closely with Game Producers and Studio Artists to bring our content to life through music and sound effects.
