Playtech‘s POP (Playtech Open Platform) Team is looking for a proactive Product Operations Engineer with strong troubleshooting and investigation skills.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Participate in release management flow: applications setup, update, configuration changes
  • Handle production problems and incidents
  • Process internal and external customers' requests and issues
  • Handle production system monitoring (alerting, dashboards)
  • Ensure services SLO meets target
  • Participate in 24×7 shift on-call rotation for critical production issues handling

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Have 2+ years of experience in L2 production application support
  • Possess good Linux knowledge and hands‑on experience
  • Have Kubernetes basics
  • Understand network communications and protocols, including HTTP(S), WebSocket, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing
  • Bring strong troubleshooting and investigation skills
  • Understand monitoring principles, alerting, performance, and healthiness metrics
  • Have hands‑on experience with visualization tools, such as Kibana and Grafana
  • Have experience using CI/CD tools and processes, including Git, Jenkins, and Argo CD
  • Possess intermediate English proficiency or higher
