Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, target driven Key Account Manager who will partner with our customers and ensure their long-term success. The Key Account Manager role is to manage a portfolio of assigned key licensees, pro-actively developing the relationship and generating consistent revenue growth in line with assigned targets. In addition, the Key Account Manager shall take an active role in supporting the existing Account Managers and assisting with the onboarding of new Account Managers. The successful candidate will be results orientated, see revenue growth as their main motivator and have a genuine enthusiasm for succeeding within the online gaming industry.
Key Account Management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with our largest and/or most strategically important licensees and internal stakeholders across the business and understanding their assigned licensees’ business in depth with a competent understanding of their KPI’s. Using the Playtech tools and “out of the box” thinking, Key Account Managers shall be proactive in their approach to relationship and revenue growth and make relevant suggestions and recommendations to their licensees in order to produce strong MoM and YoY growth. Key Account Managers will liaise between licensees and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience. Our ideal candidate is able to work closely with their licensees to fully understand their business strategies and how Playtech fits into them and maintain full understanding and knowledge of their licensee’s websites and apps to analyse and identify opportunities to improve the overall Playtech content exposure and maintain a detailed understanding of our competitors within those spaces. They will also play a key role in supporting the rest of the Account Management Team where needed.
Key Areas of Responsibilities and Tasks
- Exceeding revenue targets
- Establish long standing, trusted relationships with key licensee stakeholders and decision makers
- Developing strong relationships across the internal business to strengthen your ability to resolve issues internally, seek approvals and generally work well across multiple departments
- Providing an advisory service to licensees regarding promotions and setting up Playtech promotional tools in the back office for licensees
- Working with BI and internal BI tools to understand and analyse your account data and provide insights to licensees and internal stakeholders
- Maintain a full understanding of the online gaming industry, the competitor landscape, market trends and game content trends
- Identify opportunities and take a proactive approach to upsell Playtech products and services and create new business opportunities with existing licensees
- Explaining the functionality of new product and software releases to your licensees and how to maximise revenues from these, including game/product releases and their configuration; delivering the games content roadmaps and advising on applicable content for specific markets
- Presenting BI data on the performance of your accounts internally & externally with a keen focus on how our products are performing compared to industry trends and competitor benchmarks
- Providing first level business support and being a point of escalation for all queries, including product, delivery, commercial matters, operational issues and high-level technical queries
- Proactively making suggestions to improve the weaker areas in the team and leading such improvements

Qualifications
Necessary skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- An ability to multi-task and manage your time well
- An ability to understand your licensee and their business needs particularly, higher end licensees
- Understand the need to grow strategic partnerships and make decisions based on both revenue growth needs as well as long term strategic growth, an ability to see the “bigger picture”
- Self-Motivation/Highly motivated by targets with a genuine competitive passion to achieve
- Service and business orientated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Knowledge of the online gaming market (particularly Casino, Live Casino & Poker) with a strong understanding of the competitor landscape
- Written and spoken English to business level is essential
- Other languages are beneficial, especially Spanish & Russian
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills needed with the ability to comfortably present both internally and externally, particularly around our product performance and industry trends
Necessary work experience
- Previous Account Management experience, ideally within B2B Online Gaming
- Experience of working within an online B2B gaming company in a customer facing, revenue/target focused role is essential
- The ability to demonstrate previous revenue growth as a direct result of you own activities
- Experience of working with IMS or other online gaming platform back offices is preferred
