Job Description
The manager is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that optimize cost, ensure supply continuity, and support business objectives. The role leads the sourcing process, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management while partnering closely with internal stakeholders. The manager applies data-driven analysis, market intelligence, and best-practice methodologies to deliverable measurable financial and operational impact.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned closely with business priorities and demand forecasts.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including spend analysis, RFP development, supplier evaluation, and award recommendations
- Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) and cost-modeling analysis to inform sourcing decisions
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contractual agreements to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation objectives
- Establish and manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, scorecards, and continuous improvement
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies with operational requirements
- Monitor market trends, cost drivers, and risk factors to proactively address supply or drive innovation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract governance standards, and enterprise risk
- Support procurement process improvement initiatives, including automation, standardization, and advanced financial models

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- At least 8 Years' of Experience
