Job Description
Role Overview
Ensure maximum equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency during shift operations at our Iligan flour mill. You will execute real-time mechanical troubleshooting, condition-based monitoring, equipment calibrations, and raw material unloading operations while adhering to strict quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Lead immediate emergency repairs during shift disruptions to eliminate production downtime. Perform equipment calibrations and root-cause analyses for chronic mechanical faults.
Condition-Based Monitoring: Conduct routine vibration monitoring and thermal imaging. Analyze operational performance data to catch potential abnormalities before failures occur.
Shift Operations & Unloading: Oversee mechanical performance during raw material unloading, ensuring equipment operates at peak feed rates without exceeding time limits.
Projects & Materials: Design cost-effective improvement projects, assist with mechanical installations, and coordinate with planners to ensure necessary spare parts are available.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain engineering records and strictly adhere to 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and ISO food safety and quality policies.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
Licensure: Registered/Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in industrial mechanical maintenance, manufacturing, or processing plant operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in interpreting mechanical/electrical schematics and troubleshooting electro-pneumatic systems.
Experience with vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and instrument calibration.
Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy for shift reporting.
Work Conditions: Willing to work shift schedules, handle night calls for emergencies, and work in an active flour mill environment (exposure to dust, noise, and mechanical hazards; PPE provided).
