Job Description

The Territory Business Manager is responsible for generating and cultivating an increasingly loyal customer base for  Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corporation through active selling and establishing relationships with the distributors and dealers.  In-charge of translating continuous market share within a specified territory. This position is also responsible for ensuring maintenance of credit terms within the acceptable corporate standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Market Intelligence 

1.     Contributes in determining market potential at the territory level thru the conduct of dealer and end-user market reading and profiling of prospective customers.

2.     Gathers market related informations such as market scenarios, trends and competitors' informations in order to identify opportunities in increasing current business or expanding into  new markets, products or services.
II. Business Plan

1.     Implements approved placement strategies for the territory

2.     Develops and proposes an overall business approach in an assigned territory to include but not limited to placement and pricing strategy

3.     Regularly analyzes customer's financial status to ensure business continuity and expansion. 

III. Customer Relations

1.     Serves as a link and provides support between stakeholders and the company in all transactions related to order fulfillment.

2.     Gathers, provides feedback and monitors intervention on customer concerns pertaining to product and services within the specified turn-around time.

IV. Sales Operations

1.     Verifies all critical information necessary to determine worthiness of a prospective customer prior to endorsement.

2.     Executes, leads generation and negotiations to prospective customers.

3.  Plans and executes the territory KRAs in order to grow the business in an assigned territory.

4.  Helps in managing AR of the territory through effective collection.

5.  Implements and evaluates effectiveness of defined sales activities in the territory.

6.  Strategic and effective use of the resources provided for by the company to advance Pilmico's business in the assigned territory

VI. Other Tasks

7.  Actively participates in company programs and during meetings and discussions and come up with suggestions for improvement in the areas of quality, efficiency, productivity, security and safety, sanitation and food safety, environment, waste reduction, sustainability, social responsibility and risk management.

8.  Participates in projects and improvements on sales and marketing process as may be assigned.

9.  Performs other work-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

●      At least a graduate of any 4-year business-related course and  or with  a degree in Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science an advantage

●      At least 2 years working experience in a related industry or 4 years sales experience in any industry

 

Additional Information

Computer literate; capable of preparing field reports and sales analysis

With Valid driver's license; capable of multi - territory supervision

Fluent in Hiligaynon (Ilonggo) and or Karay-a, enabling strong regional leadership presence
