Project Gemini is a yet unannounced AAA game developed with Square Enix – the publisher of our recent AAA title, Outriders. The game development involves primarily our Europe based teams.
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Animator skilled at creating both realistic and stylized motion for in-game characters (humanoid, creature, or machine). You will be creating high quality content utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data, developing animations that support gameplay and visuals, implementing and iterating on animation assets in game, collaborating with team to create dynamic, player centric experience, troubleshooting and solve animation issues with all departments and organizing and prioritizing animation tasks.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience as an animator in film, TV, or games
- Strong understanding of the principles of animation and character anatomy
- Facial animation and lip-syncing are a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Able to take direction and implement feedback
- Ability to think outside the box to come up with more efficient techniques
- High work ethic and self-motivated
- Passion for Games
Nice to have
- Artistic skills: figure study, gesture drawing, 2D animation, illustration and painting
- Technical skills musts: proficient MotionBuilder, Maya, and Familiarity with Unreal or similar game engine
- Bonus Technical skills not a must: rigging, scripting
- Shipped AAA game title experience
