Job Description
Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks:
o Receiving inspection of raw materials, repair goods, outside processed material & bought out material
o Product measurement/inspection and marking them during in-process & final stages of manufacturing as applicable
o Assuring quality parameters are being met as per organizational/customer requirements at all stages of manufacture/repairs
o Maintaining the calibration status and calibration of measuring instruments, gauges and maintain records
o Identification and maintaining inspection status of products
o Identification of non-conforming products/goods with information to QC/Production superiors and raising NCRs
o Release of products after satisfactory inspection results as per route card/API requirements
o Maintaining records of products/process monitoring and inspection
o Maintain log of welding inspections done and inspection results
o Approve welded components which pass the requirements and are found acceptable
o Identify the defective parts suitably to prevent unintended use and inform welding/production supervisor for necessary measures
o Re-inspect welds after repair, if any
o Co-ordinate for WPS, welder qualification, PWHT, NOE requirements
Any other related duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
Qualifications
Education / Qualification:
o Any Degree or Diploma certification in mechanical engineering is preferable
Experience:
o 1-3 year relevant working experience in Quality Control
Technical Skills:
o Knowledge on tools and equipment related to Oil and Gas industry
o Understanding on quality aspects and pre/post production inspection of tools
o Basic Knowledge of Engineering drawings
Administrative Skills:
o Work under pressure with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
o General understanding of drawings and process documents
o English written & spoken skill is must
