Job Description

Job Summary

As a Principal DevOps Engineer on the Prisma AIRS Red Teaming team, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining the advanced infrastructure for our product. This role requires deep DevOps expertise to build scalable, secure systems and bridge development with operations through CI/CD and automation. You will have a significant impact on cybersecurity within a leading-edge product and a highly skilled, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure for the Prisma AIRS product.
  • Develop and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to enhance development velocity and ensure continuous delivery.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, with a primary focus on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Establish and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Proactively collaborate and exchange information with development and security teams to accomplish shared objectives and ensure system integrity.
  • Champion and implement engineering best practices, acting as a role model and mentor to improve team processes and product quality.
  • Identify, evaluate, and solve complex system problems, applying innovative engineering techniques to deliver high-quality results.
  • Drive technical discussions and create synergy among stakeholders to build a world-class product.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9+ years of total experience in software engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in a DevOps, SRE, or CI/CD automation-focused role.
  • Proven, hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitLab CI.
  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools, particularly Terraform for managing GCP environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and maintaining test automation infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Practical experience with other major cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • A strong drive for problem-solving, a high degree of ownership, and the ability to work on complex challenges.
