Your Career
This role will be pivotal in accelerating our market leadership and revenue growth by transforming our JAPAC partner and ecosystem landscape into a powerhouse for demand generation and customer acquisition. You will achieve this by:
Driving multi-million-dollar pipeline and revenue through the strategic development and execution of highly targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across our diverse partner ecosystem.
Shaping the strategic direction of JAPAC partner marketing, acting as a trusted advisor to senior sales executives, and translating complex business objectives into impactful, measurable marketing plans.
Developing and executing the JAPAC Partner Marketing Plan — a comprehensive strategy encompassing both strategic and commercial marketing across JAPAC, with a focus on driving demand, achieving channel growth goals, and aligning with our regional business objectives.
Cultivating a high-performing team by fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability that consistently delivers exceptional results.
Optimizing significant marketing investments through a data-driven approach to ensure maximum ROI and continuous improvement across all partner marketing initiatives.
Aligning with GEO Channel business needs, reflecting the unique requirements of our regional channel business in both short- and long-term marketing plans.
Positioning Palo Alto Networks as the Partner of Choice by building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our valued partners.
Ensuring seamless collaboration and brand consistency across regional teams, amplifying our message and market presence through key alliances with cloud service providers (CSPs), global systems integrators (GSIs), traditional distributors, and ISVs.
Leveraging Account-Based Marketing approaches to maximize the impact of strategic partner marketing plans and drive targeted outcomes.
Leading the commercial hub team to partner with channel and sales leadership on the overall commercial segment strategy, focus, approach, and expected marketing outcomes specific to your region.
- Building an AI-first GTM operation for maximum productivity, cost efficiency and scale. Share best practice and AI smarts with the marketing functions within our partner businesses so benefit from the value of our AI operations.
Qualifications
Your Experience
12+ years of demonstrated success leading marketing organizations within the technology sector — managing direct teams, key stakeholders, senior leaders, event marketing, partners/vendors, and cross-functional functions.
Proven ability to generate new and innovative approaches, challenge the status quo, and continuously look for ways to elevate performance and impact.
Demonstrated success in acting as a business partner to partner sales executives and leading change in times of ambiguity.
Deep and broad knowledge, along with strong relationships, within the technology partner and ecosystem landscape.Strong experience in inclusive communication, ensuring diverse voices are heard, valued, and empowered.
Proven record of consistently delivering on expectations and achieving results.
Ability to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way, identifying opportunities and threats through deep business insight and comprehensive trend analysis.
Track record of striving for excellence, both personally and across teams you have led.
Strong planning, organizational, scheduling, and budgeting skills with a focus on key business priorities.
Solid understanding of funnel metrics and the actions needed to continuously improve conversion rates at every stage, ultimately increasing marketing-sourced pipeline and bookings.
Demonstrated ability to develop people — coaching individuals to enhance current performance and preparing them for future roles.
Strong goal-setting and performance management skills — setting clear, business-aligned objectives and measuring performance rigorously.
Experience with generative AI tools is highly desirable — leveraging AI to create, iterate, and optimize marketing content; enable hyper-personalization at scale through customer data insights; and automate workflows by integrating generative AI into existing marketing processes.
Proven track record of recognizing and rewarding excellence through meaningful KPIs.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology preferred.
Experience in sales or partner sales is a plus.
