Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis analyst for our Israeli site. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, a great communicator, and enjoys collaborating with people in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Israel, the Senior FP&A analyst is responsible for budget planning, management, and analysis for teams in Israel, US and India. The preferred candidate will serve as the focal point for all budget related topics, partnering with the leaders and budget owners to build forecasts, analyze actual results, and ensure that the budget is utilized properly.

Israel is one of the largest Palo Alto Networks sites outside of the US, with over 1,300 employees. The team in Israel is focused on securing the future and cloud, making it a strategic location for future product pipelines.

Your Impact

  • Lead the budget planning, forecasting and analysis cycles.

  • Business partnership with all relevant stakeholders in Israel, US and India during their relevant time zones on all budget related matters and all business support aspects.

  • Work closely with the accounting team on the month/quarter close process.

  • Partner with the procurement team to ensure proper budget utilization and approval of purchase requisitions.

  • Analyze costs and provide recommendations to drive efficiencies in the site spend.

  • Work with the site team to analyze and prioritize the R&D portfolio and build business models and financial justifications for new projects.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s in business administration, Economics or Finance.

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably at a global company.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and/or in a matrixed organizational structure.

  • Experience driving performance improvement initiatives and business models.

  • Well-versed with MS Office applications and G-suite.

  • Strong communicator and a team player.

  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) is a must.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving and demanding environment.

Additional Information

The Team

Our finance team is responsible for the end to end financial activity of the Israeli site. The team has over 15 finance professionals in accounting, FP&A, FinOps, sourching and procurement functions. We are responsible for bookkeeping, payroll, controllership, FP&A, cloud hosting optimization and sourcing. We are constantly growing and expanding our ability to provide support to our business partners.
