About the role
Join Pact Group as a full-time Payroll Administrator and be part of a team with a keen eye for detail. You will take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of staff payments in New Zealand. Based in Hamilton, NZ, and reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be an integral member of the Shared Services team.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and provide backup support during team absences.
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of site collective agreements.
- Maintain precise employee master data and meet audit requirements.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues promptly.
- Stay updated with legislative changes and ensure compliance within our systems.
- Maintain full compliance with Pact Group’s Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental (WHSE) policies and all relevant legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Environmental Protection Authority Act.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous work experience in end-to-end payroll, accounting, or similar
- New Zealand payroll experience including working with multiple collective agreements and individual employment agreements.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in communication to engage with employees regarding inquiries related to payroll
- Proven skillfulness in numerical and data entry skills to ensure accurate processing of payroll information to deadlines.
