Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
- Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments, including VLAN management and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Monitor network performance and alerts; identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues such as outages, latency, and connectivity disruptions.
- Perform firmware updates, patching, and assist with change management procedures across network devices.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
Days and Shift Information
- Full-time position
- Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support
- Participation in an on-call rotation for network support and incident response
Work Environment
- Office-based or hybrid work environment depending on business needs
- Collaborative team setting within the TechOps/IT department
- Fast-paced environment supporting a multi-site enterprise network infrastructure
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent hands-on experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a network support, IT support, or similar technical role
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DNS
- Exposure to or experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cisco Meraki environments preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus
- Experience with network monitoring tools, documentation practices, and basic troubleshooting methodologies

Additional Information
Pay / Benefits / Perks
- Pay rate: $85,000
- Paid Time Off: Accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year; two weeks of vacation plus one week of PTO accrued upon first anniversary.
