Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of employee pay. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers, confidential information, and payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll for drivers with multiple types of pay.
• Review and verify PTO time for drivers.
• Enter and maintain payroll data including new hires, terminations, wage changes, and garnishments.
• Audit payroll reports for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with year-end processes including W-2s, reconciliations, and audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
• Support the Accounts Payable and HR teams as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of payroll or accounting experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
• Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, etc.).
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
