Data consultants for our Data Science team in Copenhagen

  • Full-time

Job Description

Are you passionate about data? Do you get excited about supporting organisations on their journey to becoming data-driven? Would you enjoy working alongside like-minded peers who support each other as a team in a consultancy with a flat hierarchy?
If so, you may be the perfect fit for our team. We are seeking data consultants to strengthen our Data Science team in Copenhagen.

Data is broadly recognised as a key asset in both private companies and public organisations. However, many organisations need inspiration on defining and planning their strategy and managing data efforts, and some lack a proper data infrastructure to enable trustworthy reporting and support new technological opportunities.

The role as a data consultant encompasses a unique opportunity to help our clients realise value by using and developing state-of-the-art frameworks in data strategy, data management and data governance.  We advise clients on setting a direction for their work with data as well as improving all aspects of data governance and data management.

If you are more interested in working with data science or data engineering, we for example also help our clients leverage Gen AI and implement data engineering solutions based on the three big cloud providers (GCP, AWS and Azure).

We help a wide range of clients across various sectors. Here are some examples of our current assignments:

  • Supporting a bank in establishing a framework for ethical use of client data in their AI models
  • Helping a global life science company drive their data office epics across all areas, such as Commercial and Finance
  • Defining the strategy as well as architecting and developing a chatbot solution to search in the enterprise DMS for an energy and utilities provider
  • Helping a global retailer develop their master data strategy, including an as-is assessment of data capabilities, a to-be design and a roadmap for how to fill the gaps between as-is and to-be
  • Helping a governmental organisation design and establish a reporting framework for monitoring a large infrastructure mega-project based on multiple data sources.

PA is an innovation and transformation consultancy. We believe in the power of ingenuity to build a positive human future in a technology-driven world. To us, that means using our curiosity and technical proficiency to turn our clients’ business needs into data requirements. With this approach, we assist the most interesting organisations (private and public) with their key data transformations – locally and globally.

We believe that value is created in collaboration and by working shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients. You will be part of an international environment where we value teamwork, sparring and feedback. It is also an environment that requires learning and new knowledge so that we can deliver brilliant work to our clients. With us, you will follow the latest developments in the field, while at the same time having access to training and certifications. We are therefore looking for someone with an open and curious approach to solving challenges and who is driven by acquiring new knowledge.

Your employment with us starts with a thorough introduction. To support your development, you will from day one be assigned a manager and a buddy who, together with you, will prepare a development plan adapted to your skills and interests.

The team
You will be joining our Data Science team in Copenhagen – a team with diverse backgrounds. In our approach to management consulting, we strike a balance between interesting client engagements, internal PA collaborations and professional upskilling. We do this in a collaborative manner that leaves room to cultivate our other interests in life, which span everything from board game nights and fermentation hobbies to water polo, trail running, climbing and just spending time with our family and friends. If you have a sport or hobby you love, we are happy to try it out as a team. In general, PA is a workplace where you can be very social. We usually meet each other on Fridays in the PA office, and we enjoy team dinners, wine tastings, paddle or other social activities.

We work in a flexible environment, where you are the boss of your own time to the extent that you deliver on agreed obligations such as client engagements. Even though it depends on our clients, it is usually possible to have days where you work from home.

Qualifications

We are seeking data professionals at various levels within our Data Science team. Whether you are at the beginning of your career journey or have many years of experience, we would like to hear from you.

We think you will be a great fit if you agree with some of the factors below:

  • You have experience with one or more of the following: data science, data engineering, data strategy, management and governance frameworks, operating models, policies, processes and standards
  • You have experience as a consultant, either externally or in-house
  • You have knowledge of or hands-on experience with metadata management, master/reference data management, data quality and data integration
  • You have experience working with different stakeholder groups (data sponsors/owners/stewards etc.) to implement new data governance processes and frameworks
  • You have relevant certifications such as DCAM Council, DAMA DM-BOK, cloud certifications etc.
  • You are energetic, passionate and positive with a commitment to delivering excellence in all circumstances
  • You are a team player who understands that we achieve stronger results together than as individuals
