Job Description

Your day to day

PA Human Insight delivers insight for innovation, design and customer experience. Formerly known as Sparkler, we became part of PA Consulting’s global organization in 2018. Our clients are agents of change in consumer, tech, finance, healthcare and CPG sectors. Founded in 2000, we are primarily based in London and NYC and work with our PA colleagues and clients across the globe.

We spend our time taking a human-centered approach to uncovering people’s needs, behaviors and motivations to identify new opportunities for some of the world’s largest brands and organizations.  Challenges such as:

·        Understanding the electric vehicle charging experience, to inform the design of an electric vehicle charging point for Great Britain

·        Understanding how misinformation spreads amongst minority ethnic communities for a global messaging service, and how this can be countered

·        Establishing a framework to assess the inclusivity of Augmented Reality (AR) products, to drive more inclusive development of AR, for a leading tech brand

Our clients are a mix of the biggest digital unicorns, providers of critical national infrastructure and services, and some of the most loved products, services and brands in the world. And all these clients have sky-high ambition to exceed the expectations of their current and target customers, members, citizens...

That’s where we help them.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding the Human Insight team by establishing a small team based in the Bay Area. This team will deliver work to our West Coast and US-based clients and enable closer collaboration with our PA colleagues, including Astro (a design studio PA acquired in 2020).

As a Consultant Analyst in the Human Insight US team, you’ll be an important part of the end to end delivery of insight projects, working in assignment teams and often owning parts of the delivery. You’ll be ensuring user needs are at the heart of decision making on client challenges, through effective collaboration with other researchers, designers and strategists from across Human Insight London and PA US Design and Engineering. Alongside this, you will be analyzing client challenges, and proactively using your own expertise and technical knowledge to bring in appropriate methods, tools and techniques to deliver solutions.  You’ll also be forging new relationships and looking for opportunities for collaboration and a deeper understanding of Human Insight capabilities amongst the design and engineering teams in PA US.
