Do you have a passion for strategy and execution in a growing industry? Oterra is looking for a Strategy Associate to play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our North American strategic ambitions.

Your Role
As a Strategy Associate, you will support the development and execution of Oterra’s strategy in North America. You will collaborate closely with the North American leadership team and work on high-impact projects ensuring that cross-functional initiatives are successful.
The role will be reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Execution in North America and will be embedded within the Strategy and Product Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the development, communication and implementation of our regional strategy in close collaboration with the North American Leadership Team
Plan, support and drive cross-functional strategic projects, including diagnosing challenges, identifying solutions and ensuring successful completion
Use project management best practices to monitor progression, timelines, risks and quality of delivery
Compile and track key commercial intelligence and market insights
Partner with R&D, Applications and Sales teams to identify, explore and drive new opportunities for growth
Develop high quality communication materials for both internal and external stakeholders
Ad hoc tasks related to corporate communication, commercial analyses etc.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
University degree or MBA from a recognized university or business school
A minimum of 2 years of work experience within corporate strategy, business development or management consulting, including independent stakeholder and project management experience
Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects
Skilled problem solver and analyst with the ability to deliver both qualitative and quantitative insights in a clear and concise manner to senior stakeholders
Experience in crafting clear and concise communication material and presentations to senior stakeholders – both written and verbally
Strong sense of accountability with a natural ability to consistently drive initiatives forward
A curious and pro-active team player with a can-do-attitude who is willing to go the extra mile when needed
