Job Description
You will be part of our Cloud Native DevSecOps practice and will be primarily working on building solutions that involve Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory in the surrounding cloud native architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for providing design and implementation expertise on cloud operating models and best practices, management and lifecycle implementation of cloud-native components and services, DevSecOps services that are being built in the cloud. You will present solutions to stakeholders to better educate them and help in the decision making process for using the right technologies for solving strategic and tactical problems. You will own the Azure cloud environment and will guide and inform stakeholders on the larger data strategy and lifecycle management of the data solutions.
Qualifications
- Must have in-depth, hands-on experience and working knowledge of Azure cloud and all cloud components with a special focus on Data engineering and automation
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager
- Experience building and management of a DataBricks platform
- PL/SQL knowledge in an Oracle environment and best practices
- Experience creating automation workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages (python, groovy, bash)
- Experience with big data pipelines (Zookeeper, Kafka)
- Experience with other database technologies (Oracle, Redis, Postgresql)
- Have worked within an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban)
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles
- Strong experience with Configuration Management (SCM) tools and IaC automation
- Observability experience and ability to create dashboards
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex solutions in the language-of-leadership
