Job Description

We are looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to be part of our Kubernetes customer success team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an amazing experience for our customers by addressing and resolving their questions on all things Kubernetes. You will be a fairly technical engineer and will be working closely containers and Kubernetes. You will work directly with our customers and our engineering and consulting teams to identify optimal ways to resolve customer questions and issues and help create success for our customers.

Responsibilities of this position are:

  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.

  • Understanding customer’s Kubernetes configuration.

  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve kubernetes issues.

  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal engineering teams.

  • Documenting technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.

  • Keeping up-to-date on Kubernetes trends and working on a prototyping enterprise scenarios to replicate customer configurations and issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Good understanding and experience with kubernetes, docker or containers ecosystem in general.

  • Good understanding and experience with AWS and/or Azure.

  • Strong problem solving skills and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer support skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or previous computer engineering or software engineering experience.
