Job Description
Who we are looking for:
The Prisma Cloud Engineer will directly contribute to the overall growth of Optiv’s Managed Cloud Security offering, assisting in the deployment of our Prisma Cloud Enterprise and Prisma Cloud Compute tools.
How you will make an impact:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Prisma Cloud (previously known as Twistlock & Redlock)
- Present to clients at all levels, from Systems Administrators to Executive Leadership , highlighting the benefits of Prisma Cloud
- Design and implement Prisma Cloud architectures that will allow business and security requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk to the organization
- Provide Technical Expertise on all aspects of Containerization technologies, and how these services work within varying Cloud Service Providers.
- Works with Palo Alto teams to choose appropriate technology solutions to meet requirements in Prisma Cloud deployments.
- Provide guidance and technical direction to clients who have deployed, or are in the process of deploying, Prisma Cloud Enterprise (formerly Redlock) and Prisma Cloud Compute (formerly Twistlock)
- Identifies, recommends, coordinates, and delivers timely knowledge to support teams regarding technologies, processes or tools.
- Writing code / scripts as needed, to assist in the deployment of Prisma Cloud tools and agents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Security Architect and/or Engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, GCP, or other Cloud Service Provider.
- Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or OpenShift
- Knowledge of Containerization Technologies on varying Cloud Service Providers, such as ECS, EKS, GKE, and AKS.
- Familiarity with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management with tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Programming experience with higher-level languages such as Chef, Puppet, YAML, JSON, or Python.
- Demonstrated experience with API’s and 3rd Party Integrations with tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Tenable, etc.
- Experience with Prisma Cloud, and / or Twistlock and Redlock
- Ability to perform threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introduction of new technologies.
- Experience working with customers, positioning, configuring, and demonstrating solutions.
- Experience in understanding CVE, Exploits, and Runtime Security
- Experience in managing or implementing CI/CD processes, and use of tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
- Experience in DevOps will be an added bonus
- Understanding of Windows PowerShell and Linux Bash
