Who we are looking for:

The Business Intelligence Platform Analyst will join Optiv’s Business Intelligence (BI) team in its mission to provide a consistent, accurate, and timely data experience for Optiv's leadership within Optiv's Business Intelligence platform (DOMO). Reporting to the Major DOMO, the BI Platform Analyst’s role will be responsible for effective provisioning and configure all DOMO users as well as the refinement and development of the efficient SQL queries needed to research, analyze, and troubleshoot data volumes a company of Optiv’s size produces daily. The BI Platform Analyst will also support the Major DOMO in general operation, maintenance and tier 1 support of the DOMO platform itself as needed.  This is an entry-level position.

The above duties will require the Business Intelligence Platform Analyst to establish efficient and effective solutions/procedures in diverse and complex technical and business problems on a regular basis. The success of a Business Intelligence Platform Analyst at Optiv is inextricably tied to the success of Optiv as a whole, a growing company in a changing environment. The Business Intelligence Platform Analyst will be successful by achieving a close working relationship with Optiv’s Major Domo and ensuring the smooth operation of the Domo solution for all of Optiv’s DOMO users.

 How you’ll make an impact:

• Ownership of Domo user provisioning and configuration
• Ensuring appropriate content access for all DOMO users
• Assuring the quality and the integrity of the data portrayed in DOMO
• Deprecating old/unused content within Domo
• Designing databases, stored procedures, reports, and dataset interfaces
• Retrieving data from various enterprise systems via API connectors
• SQL query development and refinement
• Assisting the Major Domo with providing technical support for all DOMO users

• Minimum of two (2) years of Microsoft Excel and/or SQL writing experience or equivalent college coursework
• College degree, B.S. or higher in area of Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, or Business Administration or related analytical field
• Strong proficiency in data collection, aggregation, manipulation and transformation, relational modeling, de-duplication, data normalization, etc
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
• Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and MS Excel

Preferred Qualification:

• Previous experience with Domo administration and development experience
• Previous experience in platform-based master data construction and management
