Job Description
We are seeking a hard-working, career-driven candidate who has schedule flexibility and enjoys working outside. As a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while assisting with construction materials testing and inspections services for various projects, including complex and high-profile projects. You will work under the direction and supervision of senior technicians, engineers, or project managers, and become familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting with site inspections and/or laboratory testing.
- Providing daily field and/or laboratory report preparation and file management for multiple projects.
- Receiving initial instruction or advice from a supervisor or project manager.
- Traversing and working in all types of terrain, in all kinds of weather conditions, and at project sites in various stages of construction.
- Identifying and avoiding potential safety hazards for workers and the public in and around project sites.
In this role, you will be expected to travel to job sites and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions, making this a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys being outdoors.
