Job Description

The aim of the Young Aspiring Manager (YAM) Program is to enhance the skills and knowledge of advisors by giving them exposure to the role of a Manager.  

Key Features of the YAM Program:

  • EQ Assessment and Feedback.
  • Workshops and training sessions.
  • Mentoring.
  • Acting Opportunities.
  • Formal NQF 5 or NQF 6 qualification through Henley.

Qualifications

To be considered for a YAM opportunity, please make sure:

  • You have passed RE (Regulatory Exam) and Full Qualification (FQ) if you are in a finance giving role.
  • You have no valid Final or Comprehensive Final Written Warning.
  • You need to be in the company (in a role involving full product training) for at least six months.
  • Your performance is acceptable.
  • To note that the number required is in line with staff projections, it is however not a target. So if talent is in abundance, we might appoint more than the required number or on the flip side where we feel aspiring leaders are not ready as yet – we might not make any appointments.
