Job Description
The Core HR and Total Rewards Capabilities SME is responsible for supporting and optimizing global Core HR and Total Reward processes and solutions—including employee master data management, payroll administration, workforce transactions, and compliance—by leveraging innovative technology, analytics, and efficient business services. This role partners closely with Accenture and GBS in a “Two in a Box” model to ensure seamless management of annual cycles, high-quality service delivery, and continuous process improvement. The position oversees help desk and vendor query portal operations, manages escalations, maintains governance controls, and drives automation, all while embodying O-I’s Blueprint Behaviors and reporting to the Global HR Process Owner. Technology product ownership includes SuccessFactors Employee Central, Compensation, ServiceNow HRSD, and accountability for related HR/payroll interfaces.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Partner with the respective HR Alignment Network Leader(s) to manage the deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement of global Core HR and Total Reward processes (employee master data, payroll inputs, workforce transactions, separations).
- Serve as product owner for key HR and total reward technology platforms (SuccessFactors EC, SF Compensation, ServiceNow HRSD), ensuring system configuration, upgrades, and user adoption.
- Oversee help desk and vendor query portal operations for HR and compensation-related queries, ensuring prompt resolution and stakeholder satisfaction. Serve as escalation point for Core HR and compensation-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and managed services (Accenture/GBS) to enhance portal functionality and user experience. · Implement escalation procedures for high-priority HR issues, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
- Approve and update desktop procedures (DTPs) for HR and payroll processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy in operations.
- Maintain governance controls, including RACI matrices, SOPs, and audit readiness.
- Drive automation and analytics initiatives to improve HR and payroll process efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with HR Alignment Networks, HRBPs, Payroll, GBS, IT, Finance, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful execution of HR and payroll strategies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll administration, or HR/payroll technology product ownership.
- Proven experience with global HR and payroll systems (SuccessFactors EC, Payroll, ServiceNow HRSD).
- Strong understanding of shared services, vendor management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, global environment.

Hybrid Work Model: We provide a flexible work arrangement, requiring employees to be on-site at our office in Centro Comercial Viva, Envigado for 2 days per week, with the remaining 3 days working from home.
