Job Description

In this role, you will support the finance teams in budgeting, closing, and forecasting. This entails handling confidential financial data, ensuring its accuracy. The role significantly impacts financial reporting integrity, audits, and compliance. Additionally, it identifies cost reduction opportunities, impacting business performance and decisions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES  

  • Directly supports execution of the Region strategy to achieve long-term objectives in performing financial goal attainment in procurement and logistics area.
  • Work with procurement and logistic to develop a plan for process improvement and to identify opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and relevant reports are delivered, consolidate and present to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor business performance against budget and forecast and ensure proper communication of variances and trends to business management.
  • Manage the process and ensure that each of the business stakeholders provide necessary inputs.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses, dashboards, and reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate policies, US GAAP, and internal control frameworks.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Finance &/or Accounting.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Minimum 3-5 year of experience in Accounting and/or Controlling.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and Power BI
  • SAP and BW proficiency knowledge
  • Tagetik proficiency knowledge
  • SQL, Python as a plus
  • General Accounting Knowledge
  • Highly developed communication skills

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: We provide a flexible work arrangement, requiring employees to be on-site at our office in Centro Comercial Viva, Envigado for 2 days per week, with the remaining 3 days working from home.

Travel Recquirements: Less than 10% domestic or international travel might be required for this role.
